There are all level projects from just an work order to multi-complex projects. Both type of projects are managed on a total different way.
The smaller work order projects do have a limited budget and timeframe. Due to these limits it is not profitable to manage them in details. There type of projects will be managed on pricing, estimation, recalculation, cost-price etc.
The larger / complex projects will be known as:

Depending on the size and the risk of a project to an organisation these complex projects will be executed in joint venture structures between two or more parties.
